The Disney Treasure is the second Wish-class ship, built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. Its maiden voyage left Port Canaveral on December 21, 2024. It has 1,250 staterooms and carries up to about 4,000 guests with every berth filled, well above the double-occupancy figure.

Who it suits

Families who want a week are the Treasure’s market. Seven nights give you three or four ports, a Disney island day and a couple of sea days to use the pools, the AquaMouse and the kids’ clubs.

Disney fans who care about theming get Coco, Aladdin, Moana and the Haunted Mansion on one ship.

First-time cruisers might start shorter. A seven-night Disney fare is a big commitment, and our short cruise guide covers the three- and four-night options.

Who should look elsewhere: adults-only groups and anyone shopping on price. Our family cruise picks include cheaper week-long options on other lines.

Standout features

• Adventure theming. The Grand Hall draws on Asian and African architecture and the city of Agrabah from Aladdin.
• Rotational dining. 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Plaza de Coco, themed to Pixar’s Coco, which replaces the Wish’s Frozen restaurant.
• Haunted Mansion bar. The first bar Disney has themed to the Haunted Mansion attraction.
• Shows. Beauty and the Beast, The Tale of Moana and Disney Seas the Adventure in the Walt Disney Theatre, which seats about 1,270.
• AquaMouse. The water ride here uses a Mickey and Minnie short called Curse of the Golden Egg.

Cabins to pick, cabins to avoid

Pick:

• Midship verandah rooms with staterooms above and below; deck 7 is a common recommendation on the Wish class. On a seven-night trip with sea days, the verandah earns its cost more than on a short sailing.
• Inside categories 11A or 11B over 11C.

Avoid or think twice:

• Category 11C inside rooms, the category DCL Guide says to skip on the Wish-class ships, and deck 2 rooms in general, which are a long way from the pools and buffet.
• Rooms directly under the pool deck if you sleep late. Check the deck plan for what sits above any room you’re offered.
• Far forward and aft rooms if you are sensitive to motion.

Dining and activities

Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté are the adults-only restaurants and carry a surcharge. The rotational restaurants, the buffet, quick-service food and soft drinks at the drink stations are included. Disney Treasure cruise itinerary 2026–2027

The Treasure stays in Port Canaveral on seven-night cruises through 2026 and 2027:

• Eastern Caribbean: ports such as San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola, plus Castaway Cay.
• Western Caribbean: ports such as Cozumel, plus Castaway Cay.
• Late 2027 and early 2028: listings also include an eight-night Eastern Caribbean sailing in December 2027 and a six-night Bahamas sailing in January 2028, both from Port Canaveral.

The Disney Wish (2022) came first and the Disney Destiny (2025) followed; Disney Believe is due in late 2027.
