Regent Seven Seas Cruises 2026–2027: ships and what's included

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is the line to book if you want to pay once and not again: the fare covers drinks, gratuities, Wi-Fi, specialty restaurants and unlimited shore excursions in every port, on ships of 496 to 822 guests. Skip it if you rarely drink or tour, because you'd be paying for inclusions you won't use. Flights are no longer part of the fare for U.S. and Canadian guests.

Book it if

  • You take a tour in most ports. Unlimited shore excursions are in every fare.
  • You want drinks, gratuities, Wi-Fi and specialty restaurants settled before you board.
  • You prefer a ship of 500 to 820 guests, with a suite in place of a standard cabin.

Skip it if

  • You're comparing on headline fare. Regent's are among the highest at sea.
  • You don't drink much and like to explore ports on your own. A line such as Oceania charges less and includes less.
  • You want waterslides, a big casino floor or late nightlife. The ships are quiet.

Regent cruise ships

Regent’s ships fall into three groups. The three older ships are smaller and often sail the longer, more unusual routes. The three Explorer-class ships, built from 2016, are the core of the fleet. Seven Seas Prestige, the first of a new class, is larger than any of them: about 77,000 gross tons for 822 guests, which Regent says is 40 percent more ship for 10 percent more people.

  • Seven Seas PrestigePrestige class, December 2026, 822 guestsThe new flagship, with 630 crew and 12 suite categories. Its maiden voyage is a 14-night crossing from Barcelona to Miami on December 13, 2026.
  • Seven Seas GrandeurExplorer class, 2023, 744 guestsThe newest ship in service until Prestige arrives. A safe first pick for the Mediterranean or the Caribbean.
  • Seven Seas SplendorExplorer class, 2020, 746 guestsSails the 140-night world cruise from Miami on January 11, 2027.
  • Seven Seas ExplorerExplorer class, 2016, 746 guestsRegent's Alaska ship, and the one that set the current style.
  • Seven Seas Voyager2003, 698 guestsA smaller ship used for Europe, Africa and Arabia. Pick it for the route.
  • Seven Seas Mariner2001, 700 guestsAn older ship on Mediterranean, Caribbean and South America itineraries.
  • Seven Seas Navigator1999, 496 guestsThe smallest and oldest ship. It goes the furthest afield, from Asia to Africa and Australia.

What comes next. Three more Prestige-class ships are on order from Fincantieri. Sources differ on the delivery years, so we give none here.

What a Regent fare includes

Regent’s own list, as of May 2026: unlimited shore excursions in every port of call, specialty and outdoor restaurants, fine wines and spirits, entertainment, Starlink Wi-Fi, valet laundry and pre-paid gratuities. Guests in Concierge-level suites and above also get a one-night hotel stay before the cruise.

Two things to know before you compare prices:

  • Flights are separate. Until spring 2026 Regent’s standard fare included air for U.S. and Canadian guests. Since April 1, 2026, flights are arranged through its Air Concierge service, which opens 240 to 270 days before sailing depending on your suite and loyalty tier, and comes with coach airport transfers.
  • “Unlimited” excursions means the standard program. Regent counts roughly 97 to 141 included excursions per voyage on Seven Seas Prestige, depending on the itinerary. Check which tours are marked as included when you choose yours.

This is why Regent sits at the top of our all-inclusive cruise guide. On most luxury lines the drinks and tips are covered but the tours are not.

Where Regent sails in 2026 and 2027

Regent’s 2026 to 2027 season has 173 sailings. The ship assignments below come from the line’s season announcement and can change, so check the ship before you book.

  • Regent Mediterranean cruises. The largest program: 47 voyages on Seven Seas Grandeur, Mariner, Navigator, Splendor and Voyager, several with overnight stays in port. See our Europe cruise guide and Greece cruise guide.
  • Northern Europe. 28 voyages on Seven Seas Grandeur, Navigator and Voyager, four of them to Iceland. Our Northern Europe cruise guide covers the season.
  • Caribbean and Panama Canal. Seven Seas Grandeur, Mariner and Splendor in winter, joined by Seven Seas Prestige from December 2026. See our Caribbean cruise guide and Panama Canal cruise guide.
  • Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Seven Seas Explorer and Navigator, including Japan in cherry blossom season.
  • Africa, Arabia and South America. Seven Seas Navigator and Voyager sail Africa and Arabia. Seven Seas Grandeur and Mariner sail South America.
  • World cruise. 140 nights on Seven Seas Splendor from Miami to New York, starting January 11, 2027. Our world cruise guide compares it with the other 2027 voyages.

Regent Alaska cruises

Seven Seas Explorer is the only Regent ship in Alaska. The season announcement lists 16 voyages of 7 to 14 nights from Vancouver, Seward and Seattle, with calls at Sitka, Ketchikan and Klawock and scenic cruising at Hubbard Glacier. Regent does not hold one of the National Park Service contracts for Glacier Bay, so its ships go to Hubbard Glacier instead. If Glacier Bay matters to you, our best cruise lines for Alaska ranking lists the lines that go in. For a luxury ship in Alaska, we compare Regent with Seabourn and Silversea in our luxury and small-ship picks.

How Regent compares

  • Against Silversea and Seabourn: all three, Regent, Silversea and Seabourn, include drinks and gratuities. Regent is the one that includes unlimited excursions as standard. Our best luxury cruise lines page ranks them.
  • Against Oceania: Oceania has the same parent company and a similar food-first style at a lower fare, with less included.
  • Against Viking: Viking includes one excursion per port and wine with meals on ships of about 930 to 1,000 guests. It costs less, includes less and is adults-only.
  • For couples and older travelers: Regent is our all-inclusive pick in the couples cruise guide and the senior cruises guide.

Regent cruise offers and prices

Regent’s fares are high, and the useful comparison is the total. Add drinks, tips, Wi-Fi, specialty dining and a tour in every port to another line’s fare before you judge the gap. Regent’s offers change through the year, so check what is attached to your sailing date on the booking page. Remember to add flights since the April 2026 change.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises FAQ

Who owns Regent Seven Seas Cruises?

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which has owned it since 2014 and also owns Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises. The line is based in the Miami area.

Is Regent the same as Radisson Seven Seas Cruises?

Yes. The line sailed as Radisson Seven Seas Cruises before it took the Regent name. Seven Seas Navigator, Mariner and Voyager date from that period.

Are flights included on Regent cruises?

Not for U.S. and Canadian guests. Since April 1, 2026, flights are booked separately through Regent’s Air Concierge service. Excursions, drinks, gratuities, Wi-Fi and specialty dining are still in the fare.

Which Regent cruise ship is best?

From December 2026, Seven Seas Prestige is the newest and largest. Among the ships already sailing, pick Seven Seas Grandeur, Splendor or Explorer for the most up-to-date suites and restaurants, and one of the three older ships when the itinerary is the reason for the trip.

Does Regent sail to Alaska?

Yes, on Seven Seas Explorer, with voyages of 7 to 14 nights from Vancouver, Seward and Seattle. The ship visits Hubbard Glacier, not Glacier Bay.

How many guests do Regent ships carry?

Between 496 on Seven Seas Navigator and 822 on Seven Seas Prestige. Every guest is in a suite.
